Our production sites
Nynäshamn: Our founding site and innovation centre
Nynäshamn isn't just where Nynas began in 1928 - it remains a core part of our operations. Here, we produce a wide range of our specialty chemical products for both the Nordic markets and international exports, making it one of the largest production facilities of its kind worldwide and the principal provider of infrastructure solutions in Sweden and the Nordic countries.
Residents of Nynäshamn enjoy the proximity to the sea, the archipelago, and scenic historical landscapes, with Stockholm just over 40 minutes away by car or train.
Gothenburg: Specialised production for the Nordics
Our Gothenburg site specialises in producing bitumen-based specialty products like advanced binders, emulsions, and treated solutions, catering to the diverse needs of the Nordic market.
Eastham: A partnership for innovation
At our Eastham site, operated jointly with Shell, we focus on producing bitumen-based chemical solutions primarily for the UK market. This facility also features the Nynas Special Products Plant, where we develop advanced binders and emulsions.
